How about journaling graphics to SVG files

Currently True Basic Gold will journal graphics to PostScript vector graphic files. This is a nice idea as an update to the old Macintosh version journaling to PICT files, but it doesn't work as well (no font/size/style control worked, last time I tried it) and is difficult to edit afterwards. The more recent W3C standard for SVG (scalable vector graphics) files could be an improvement. The drawing model is very similar to PostScript (moveto lineto curveto), but it's XML and the fonts are much easier to handle. Plus, quite a few graphics programs will import and export SVG, including the cross-platform open-source Inkscape.

A possible enhancement for the intermediate future.
